Bayelsa United Football Club Stadium
Yenagoa Township Stadium is a multi-purpose football arena situated in Yenegoa town of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. The stadium is known to be the home ground for Bayelsa United Football Club as well as the Ocean Boys Football Club of Brass Bayelsa State.
It is an artificial turf playing surface for athletics, track events and tournaments within the state's capital that accommodates the capacity of 5,000 people. The stadium after its construction by Monimichelle Sports Facility Construction and Development Ltd and inauguration by the state government then in collaboration with other governors was rededicated in 2009 to Samson Siasia who was Nigerian football striker and the former head coach of the Nigerian Men's National football team known as The Super Eagles as Samson Siasia Stadium.
Aside from football matches and tournaments, the stadium is one of the attraction hubs, exercising ground and a place for sightseeing in the city of Yenagoa that tends to host a number of exhibitions, corporate events and socio-political episodes.
